Don't worry. I saved it. It can go up some other day.
Today, though, I wanted to direct your attention to Writes Like She Talks. Jill has been taking us through modern traditional observance of Yom Kippur, and writes about a version of a confessional prayer recently sent to her. She's posted this sensitive, incisive, and eloquent "Al Cheit"--called "If Dubya were a Jew, he'd be in trouble on Thursday."
See you there.

Well, thanks Mac. I don't suppose we could at least get Dubya to fast for a day, do you?
Mine starts at 5:30, ends at 8pm. You'd think Jews could count better!
Jill--I doubt we could get a single mea culpa out of Dubya admitting anything at all.
I hope I said and spelled all the Jewish things right...*smile*--that's a source of anxiety for me, ya know.
Trust me - spelling has nothing to do with what's in your heart or mind. :)
Thanks, Mac. Thanks, Jill.
Would Dubya say Mea Culpa for any of it? Of course not. He'd have to start with, 'Forgive me for not admitting I was wrong.' Since you won't hear that - you won't hear the rest.
