The WA State Highway 2 trestle, from beneath.

The moon is high, and there are cars up there, going somewhere.

And you took this photo because you've decided to take up 'trolling'?

No. She was troll hunting. ;)

How'd you get a picture of my ship up there in the upper left corner?

There's no moon and no cars either. Uh-oh...

Some of them no doubt throwing Macdonald trash out the window [grumbles] -- I live under one of those things and they rarely look that romantic.

Like a still from a David Lynch movie. Very nice.

There are people living immediately beneath this bridge. Some of whom I know by name--some who come and go. I walk the dogs on a path that runs beneath it and follows the river along the other side.

When I say "immediately," I mean just that, of course. Some of them have been there for years, except when the local Sheriff's department sends a car down to roust them.

And Em--there are indeed MacDonald's wrappers...and couches. And old refrigerators.

*sigh*

That's sad, Mac. Very sad.
